Through the generous support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Pecan Street Inc. is hosting its second student research competition to foster innovative, high impact research that helps the energy and water industries solve public interest problems.
Awards totaling $10,000 will be made to students that develop the most impactful research using Pecan Street’s unique dataset to answer a question of critical importance to industry. Pecan Street will help disseminate the research findings through presentation at its annual research conference in Austin, Texas and publication on Pecan Street’s website.
The competition is open to full-time undergraduate or graduate students actively enrolled at a university who conduct research using Pecan Street’s energy/water data. Learn more about the recommended research topics and submission dates and requirements.
